You’re tired of standing in your kitchen…
staring at a bowl of icing…
wondering if it’s going to turn out.
You follow the steps.
You add the powder.
You wait.
And still…
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it doesn’t.
And you’re left feeling frustrated, confused, and a little defeated.
“Why can’t I get consistent color like everyone else?”
Here’s the truth:
It’s not because you’re doing something wrong.
It’s because no one ever taught you a real system.
Most bakers were taught to “just add more color.”
So they do.
They keep adding.
They keep adjusting.
They keep hoping.
And all that happens is:
❌ dull shades
❌ wasted ingredients
❌ over-saturated icing
❌ more self-doubt
This guide exists to stop that cycle.
This is where guessing ends.
The Dye-Free Color Mixing Guide gives you a clear, repeatable way to create beautiful, natural color — on purpose.
No more hoping.
No more crossing your fingers.
No more starting over.
Just confidence.
When you use this guide, you will:
✨ Know exactly how to mix each shade
✨ Understand how colors actually develop
✨ Stop overcorrecting
✨ Waste less product

You’ll stop thinking:
“I hope this works…”
And start thinking:
“I’ve got this.”
This is for you if:
✔ You want bold color without artificial dye
✔ You’re tired of inconsistent results
✔ You don’t want to keep experimenting
✔ You want to feel professional and prepared
✔ You care about quality — inside and out
If that sounds like you…
This guide was made for you.
Why so many bakers start here
Before people master decorating…
before they feel confident…
before they scale…
They master color.
Because everything else builds on it.
This guide is where many dye-free bakers finally stop struggling — and start feeling capable.
Inside, you’ll learn how to:
✔ Create a full range of essential shades
✔ Understand color relationships
✔ Adjust warmth and depth naturally
✔ Build reliable icing bases
✔ Troubleshoot problems before they happen
✔ Follow proven formulas instead of guessing
But more importantly…
You’ll learn why it works.
And that’s what creates confidence.
If you don’t have this…
You’ll likely keep doing what you’ve been doing:
Trying.
Tweaking.
Hoping.
Wondering why it still feels inconsistent.
You don’t need more trial and error.
You need clarity.

This guide is great if you’re using royal icing. However if you’re using a buttercream icing you’ll have problems incorporating it to get a full brightness of colors due to the fact that you need to bloom the powders in water to get the fullest color. Plus the ingredients in the powder lusts maltodextrin as an ingredient. If you’re going so far as to choose natural colorings, why oh why would you choose to add maltodextrin as an ingredient. It is THE worst artificial sweetener ever made.
Excellent, just bought all the PSRM Colors that are in the book , looking forward to making colors!
It was perfect! Allowed me to make the colors i needed.
I purchased Camella's guide, and I could not be happier! Her comprehensive guide really does take so much of the stress out of learning this new approach to cookie decorating. After reading her guide, I am simply able to enjoy feeling excited and equipped to learn and to have fun. Her guide doesn't just show you how to mix dye free colors. She also gives you a recipe for a fantastic royal icing, thorough instructions and tips, and she supports her instructions with beautiful images. Finally, the layout and her tone is so approachable. Her guide is a gift for the dye-free learner!
This booklet includes a lot of good information on how to use powdered natural colors. There are recipes on how to make additional colors from using primary colors. Her recipe for the Royal icing she suggests using is included. She discusses icing consistencies. There are some good troubleshooting tips too.
